20-Year Anniversary Event

20th Anniversary Celebration of Freedom

Georgia Innocence Project’s 20th Anniversary Celebration

Georgia Innocence Project has fought tirelessly since 2002 to correct, prevent, and remedy wrongful convictions in Georgia – freeing people convicted of serious crimes they did not commit, raising awareness and advocating for much-needed reforms, and helping clients build a new life in freedom.

Join us October 6, 2022 to Celebrate Georgia Innocence Project’s 20th Anniversary!

We’ll honor the wrongfully convicted, innocent individuals freed and exonerated through the work of Georgia Innocence Project and acknowledge the partners, volunteers, and supporters whose dedicated service and commitment made this happen.

Fighting injustice requires resources - resources to investigate and litigate innocence cases, provide re-entry and recovery support services to individuals freed from wrongful convictions, and advocate for reform to increase accuracy, accountability, and justice in our criminal legal system.

We’ve helped free and exonerate men who spent over 275 years in prison for crimes they did not commit, create and improve laws, and rebuild lives while creating community. But there is so much more work to do.

By sponsoring, attending, or donating in honor of Georgia Innocence Project's 20th Anniversary Celebration of Freedom, you help right the wrongs of wrongful convictions in Georgia.
