This is a fun way to raise funds and awareness to help free the wrongfully convicted, there are two ways to get involved:

Fall Fanatics Final Four Basketball Tournament

This is your chance to contribute to the vital work of the Georgia Innocence Project and to experience the rare opportunity of competing in the state-of-the-art Atlanta Hawks Training Facility and to have your team recognized on the court at an Atlanta Hawks game.

Simply sign up as a team captain, recruit your team members, and solicit contributions to your team from all of your friends, family and colleagues. 

The top four fundraising teams will win the right to play in the Fall Fanatics Final Four Basketball Tournament, hosted by the Atlanta Hawks at their new Training Facility in Brookhaven, on Saturday, October 8, 2022. 

The winning team will be presented with the GIP Freedom Championship Trophy at the Atlanta Hawks regular season GIP Game Day.

Everyone is invited to form a team, regardless of basketball skill level. Co-ed and intergenerational teams are welcomed.

Free Throws For Freedom Contest

Score points for the imprisoned innocent by registering as a contestant in the Free Throws For Freedom Contest. 

For each $100 raised you will receive one free throw. 

The top ten fundraising contestants will win the right to compete in the Free Throws For Freedom Championship free throw shooting contest, hosted by the Atlanta Hawks at their new Training Facility in Brookhaven, on Saturday, October 8, 2022. 

The winner of the contest will be presented with the GIP Free Throws For Freedom Championship trophy at the Atlanta Hawks regular season GIP Day Game.
