Life Sentence Performance

This June, Kirkwood United Church of Christ will be hosting an evening of community in support of Georgia Innocence Project through a live performance of Life Sentence.

Life Sentence is a live performance based on the wrongful conviction and life experience of Clarence Harrison, who served 18 years in prison for a crime he did not commit. He was exonerated by DNA evidence in 2004 through the work of Georgia Innocence Project. Together Clarence Harrison, Melanie Hammet, Ben Holst, and Chief Sarai Y’huda Green describe–through stories and original songs–what was lost, what was gained, and what can never be returned.

There is no charge for this event. You will have the opportunity to donate to Georgia Innocence Project.
